SQL Buddy makes me want to abandon phpMyAdmin

| | Comments (0)

I've been using phpMyAdmin for some time, but always quite reluctantly. I simply haven't found a good alternative. What I dislike about phpMyAdmin:

 - GUI
 - Graphics,
 - User Experience

Webappers notified me about a new solution: SQL Buddy, which describes itself as:

"Let's be honest - managing a database isn't terribly exciting. But you still want to use a product that looks half-decent and is intuitive to use. SQL Buddy was designed to meet the demands of modern web developers. Oh, and did I mention that its completely open source and free for everyone to use?"

Features, also from sqlbuddy.com:

    * No Setup
    * Complete control of users
    * Easy to browse
    * Reduce load times
    * Bookmarks
    * Import and Export

But what I am really looking forward to is the GUI. While I haven't had the time to test SQL Buddy yet, I will let you know when I have.

Continue to sqlbuddy.com, a promising online mysl administration tool
